The military is the most apt job to have if the education of your child is a priority. The high academic standard in the military schools and colleges is one of the reasons why people want to be in the military
.
The U.S Military pay entitles one to various college scholarships. The Army Senior Reserve Officer Training Corps (SROTC) program is one college scholarship program that has led to a commission in the United States Army. The program’s mission is to produce commissioned officers to meet the needs of the Active Army and the Reserve Component.

On the other hand there are educational benefits for the children in the military schools. Some of these schools even share a common curriculum around the world. This enables a student moving from one military base in a country to another, have little trouble adjusting to the course load.
The military pay scale also provides for Tuition Assistance, the Montgomery G.I. Bill, College Fund Programs, and Loan Repayment Programs, which are the four main tuition support programs.

Other benefits from the military pay include Credit Programs like Military School Credits, Service member Opportunity Colleges, Credits Earned Through Testing, and the Community College of the Air Force, which allows one to earn a college degree and serve in the military at the same time.

The military pay scales vary according to the designation, location, etc. and the types of benefits are just too many to list.

The opportunities in order to get a military job are tremendous. For some having a military job is a means to an end-money in order to fund college, get trained and develop certain qualities. To the rest it is a life enhancing experience.
Paying for college can be daunting. College scholarship therefore is something that a military personnel is very glad to receive.
